VARIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Every order is handcrafted therefore, variables are possible.

For cakes, the height depicted in the picture on our webshop can vary. Each cake is at least 4 inches in height and can vary from 4-6 inches depending on the baking process and decoration. We aim to equate the cake and filling portion being keen to keep the refined portion minimal and emphasize freshly prepared seasonal fillings such as compotes, preserves, curds, jams, etc.

Since we decorate more intuitively, not one order is identical.

NUT ALLERGIES

We cannot guarantee against cross contamination of or between nuts. Baked goods can be made without any nuts but could contain traces as nuts are used in the kitchen. It is the responsibility of the Client to inform their guests that traces of nut could be present in the cake.

Any specific dietary requirements should be discussed via email prior to ordering.

For small orders such as a whole cake and/or tart, payment is required in full upon ordering.

For custom or event catering orders for larger numbers – a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking and reserve your date. By paying the deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the date.

PICK-UP & DELIVERY

We currently offer pick-ups daily during our bakery’s opening hours.

We also offer delivery in London Zone 1 every Thursday and Saturday from 12 pm – 4 pm.

The best way to travel with your custom cake is by placing your cake on a flat surface.  Please avoid any bumps and drive slowly. During warm months, we recommend travelling with the AC on high to help keep the buttercream structure firm for travel.

When you have collected your order or after delivery, we accept no responsibility for any damages caused by manhandling, falling, poor storage, weather damage, etc.

STORAGE & SERVING

Baked goods need to be stored correctly.

For savoury items, it is best to refrigerate for up to 3-5 days and preheat at 175°c for 3-5 minutes before eating.

For sweet tarts, refrigerate for up to 5 days and eat at room temperature.

Our hand pies and tarts freeze very well for up to 3 months.

When it comes to cakes, if you are not planning to serve your cake within an hour or two after you pick-up or receive your order, we recommend storing your cake in the refrigerator. If you plan to leave your cake in the refrigerator overnight, be wary of strong odours in your fridge like onion or garlic that may seep into your cake. We recommend removing your cake from the refrigerator at least 2 hours prior to serving for optimal taste and texture at room temperature.

Never leave your cake in the heat or out for long on humid days, the buttercream will melt and the flowers will wilt.

RETURNS POLICY

In the unlikely event you were not satisfied with your orders, we cannot offer returns as our products are handmade to order and perishable. If it happens that you have any issues with your order, kindly email us with your feedback and we will make sure to do our best to meet your requirements.
